Injury to soft tissues such as tendons, ligaments, muscles, and fascia from an auto accident may lead to the formation of scar tissue, adhesions, and restrictions. These tissue abnormalities cause pain, stiffness, reduced range of motion, and muscle weakness.
Developed and patented by Dr. P. Michael Leahy, DC, CCSP, Active Release Technique (ART) aims to identify and address soft tissue injuries through precise manual manipulation. This technique may help a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries, including:
Active Release Technique is not like a massage. It can be uncomfortable as it works to release the tension of scarred tissue. The purpose is to eliminate the discomfort, pain, inflammation, or other problems caused by scarred tissue.
During the procedure, our chiropractor will feel the area with their hands and identify the tightness or any unusual muscle movement in the area that is bothering you. Once the problem is identified, our chiropractor focuses on the target area using a combination of manipulation and appropriate movements. This releases and stretches the soft tissue to break up any adhesions (dense collections of scar tissue formed when muscles and connective tissues are injured) contributing to your pain.

The clinic is clean and organized. I treated at New Braunfels Auto Accident Injury Chiropractic for Sciatica and could barely stand up from sitting position. Within two week I was able to stand without extreme pain. I treated for eight weeks and was released. After my plan was complete I decided to keep treating under chiropractic because I feel so much better.

W.W.New Braunfels, TexasHonestly, I usually never put review up but this place is great. I run track and in the separate events of when I almost broke my neck from high jump and hurt my leg from running, The doctors and therapists really helped me get through that in order to get back into running shape as soon as possible. I also go in to get adjusted before meets, which always helps a lot. The staff is just amazing, they are knowledgeable and explained everything to me in detail. Definitely recommend this chiropractor.
